★ ★ ★ ★ ★"Excellent and very precise service. It meant a lot during the economic depression to be able to keep fuel consumption under control. This had a major role in my company's survival during the crisis. Since I have been using the iTrack Fuel Control system, I am reassured that everything is going just fine."Szabó András ev.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★"A super and nice piece of software with a mobile application that is also easy to handle. Another advantage of this solution, besides easy usage, is the possibility of personalization: everybody can find the features that are the most important for them, and there is no need to buy a complex system full of unnecessary functions. I can easily recommend it to anybody!"Elaforg 2000 Kft.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★"For us, using the WebControl service that supports the verification of road tolls is a particularly favorable solution, as control over ticket stub tear-offs and the number of axles helps us avoid paying high penalties"Gránit Kft.
Gas pedal position, cruise control
Effective acceleration is an important part of fuel-effective traffic. When accelerating, the engine operates optimally if throttling is not excessive. In case of excessive throttling, combustion is not optimal, meaning that more and more fuel must be injected to achieve acceleration; meaning that accelerating slower is cheaper.
Gas pedal use and cruise control use are displayed in percentages according to the following:
- 1 – 60% Ideal range.
- 60 – 80% Might be justified in case of heavy cargo, when accelerating on a steep slope.
- 80 – 100% To be avoided.
- Pedal to the metal: To be avoided absolutely
- Cruise control: Data about switching on cruise control are also collected. Since it is possible to accelerate while cruise control is active, sums above 100% are possible.
The fuel consumption of trucks can be significantly influenced by choosing the travel speed. Trucks generally travel on motorway at an average speed of 90 km/h, and many of them are limited to this speed. We have found that if they typically drive at 70 km/h, then consumption is reduced by 4 liters, and if they travel at 100 km/h instead of 90 km/h, then this results in approximately 4 liters of additional fuel consumption (and carries the risk of being fined). If a truck is forced to travel at a very low speed range, e.g. 30-40 km/h, then this also increases fuel consumption. Because of the above, when investigating the fuel consumption of trucks, it is important to know the speed range they were travelling at.Request for offer
